Support for platform migration with Linked Memberships update

In response to Adobe's mandates regarding the new Linked Memberships feature, we are introducing critical updates to assist our partners with transitioning VIP customers to VIP Marketplace (VIPMP).

Key Adobe deadlines

• December 2, 2024: No new VIP creations for COM, including Linked Memberships.
• January 31, 2025: Final date for add-on or renewal orders for COM in VIP, including Linked Memberships.

Key updates

• Backend support: We have implemented a backend infrastructure to facilitate migrating to VIPMP.
• Migration playbook: A detailed playbook will be available with the 663 final release, offering step-by-step instructions for migrating VIP customers, triggering new Linked Memberships, and checking their status through Adobe’s APIs.
• Platform-based user experience: A user interface for managing this transition is under development and will be released in 2025.

These updates ensure a smooth migration process and continued support for your customers throughout the transition to VIP Marketplace.
